meet the partners

Tony grew up in Carlisle and joined the accountancy profession in 1966 after leaving Carlisle Grammar School. He progressed within the firm and became a partner of O'Reilly in 1976. Much of his early experience focused on providing sound business advice to sole traders and family partnerships and time in the Wensleydale office gave him insights into the farming world. Now senior partner, Tony is generally the first point of contact between the firm and new clients in the Carlisle area. Tony is also now a business mentor with the Prince's Trust.

Originally from County Durham, Gary graduated from Birmingham Polytechnic with a degree in accountancy before qualifying as a chartered accountant in 1992. He worked with two firms in Newcastle-upon-Tyne then joined O'Reilly in 1999. He was manager of the audit department, dealing with corporate clients as well as other regulated work and was made a partner in 2004. Gary is now in charge of our Penrith office.

Lee grew up in Keswick and Penrith then graduated from Huddersfield University with a degree in business law. He started a career in financial planning, joining a major insurance company and progressing to area sales manager and completing the professional Financial Planning Certificate. With a desire to offer independent financial advice, rather than being tied to the products of one company, Lee joined O'Reilly in 2000 as an independent financial adviser and became a partner in 2004. Lee is also now in charge of our other businesses O'Reilly Financial Services and Yoredale Investment Services.
