The Rural Planning Facilitation Service - for Advice about Planning
- December 2007
The Rural Planning Facilitation Service aims to work with people to
develop proposals which are financially viable, environmentally sound
and acceptable in planning terms.
This is a service rather than a grant and is available to assist farm
diversification and rural development.
You will be allocated a Rural Planning Advisor and they will provide
the following services:-
- Contact you and arrange a meeting on site to discuss your proposal
- Liaise with your farm/business advisor, where appropriate
- Consult with the Local Planning Authority and other agencies
- Prepare a full Planning Assessment report with recommendations about
how to take your ideas and development forward.
